OUR LOCATION
We are located in a small Norman town at 250 meters above sea level on a peaceful hill in the province of Cosenza, in the beautiful region of Calabria.
Since 2025, our family has been running our cozy 3-room B&B (www.bbmela.com) currenlty ranking 9.4 on Booking.com in the historical center of the town.
We enjoy an extraordinary geographic position, just a 30-minute drive from the golden sandy beaches of the Ionian Sea and the wild rocky coast of the Tyrrhenian one.
When the heat rises, in less than one hour you can escape to the cool mountain air of Sila or Pollino, both around 2,000 meters high.
Thanks to Calabria’s unique geography, in one day you can go from the sea to the hills and up into the mountains. Around our town, you’ll find enchanting hamlets, ancient villages, and spectacular landscapes, plus local commercial centers and all everyday services—so you can enjoy nature and tranquility without sacrificing comfort and convenience.
